How we came about
In 1999 a group called Greenhills 2000
was formed to promote events that would
celebrate
the Millennium throughout the community of Greenhills.
During that year, and subsequent years, they have put on
various events, including a festival in the year 2000,
that have entertained the people of Greenhills.
Greenhills 2000 still put on and promote various
events throughout the area.
One of the ideas that
came out of that group was to produce a documentary
about Greenhills, detailing it’s history. A sub group
was formed to specifically deal with the idea of the
documentary and this web site and video are the results
of four years of planning, hard work and fund raising by
the members to achieve
this.
